Something in your last paper was the motive of presenting
you with the following lines, which for the most profound
dignity, and the highest sublimity, of subject, adorned with
all the graces of poetry, might claim even a youth for their
author; and which are humbly recommended to all, especially
to the lover of psalmody.
ON THE DAY OF JUDGMENT.
Lo!  He cometh, countless trumpets
Blow before his bloody side,
'Midst ten thousand saints and angels,
See the shining crucify'd.
